With 17 years experience of local and international tax at Taxhouse, Andersen and Ernst & Young and industry experience in finance and accounting with Procter & Gamble, Angela is a certified tax consultant and maintains a reputation of adopting a business related approach to her advice.  Working with multinationals and large local firms she has provided structuring and transactional direct and indirect tax advice on the full range of corporate tax activities, including M&A, reorganisations, etc., for clients acting in various industries.  Angela has been involved in various EU VAT related projects and was assigned to the Andersen VAT team in London in 1999.  She is a trainer and speaker at various tax conferences and seminars, a key member of the advisory team to the Romanian Ministry of Finance with regard to introduction and amendment of the Fiscal Code, as well as an active member of the taxation task force of the Foreign Investment Council.

Recent key transactions include international tax structuring for major multinational banks, tax due diligence and structuring advice with regard to high profile real estate investments in Romania, on-going advice to large multinationals operating in the fast moving consumer goods industry, leasing companies, EU VAT advice and mapping, tax representation for major pharmaceuticals multinationals and global investment banks trading in Romanian goods or securities, etc.

Angela holds an MA Degree in International Business and Economics from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest and an MBA Degree from the Institute for Business and Public Administration at the University of Washington, Seattle, USA.
